What we're about

Transport Events Group was founded in 2008 by the team that organises and runs the highly successful UK Bus Awards scheme. It was designed to make the expertise in promoting, administering and planning such schemes to a wider audience.  

The company owns and runs the UK Bus Awards - celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2026., and the new Leadership in Passenger Transport Awards. The company also founded and ran the currently suspended UK Coach Awards between 2009 and 2019, and works regularly for other clients, including the Young Bus Professionals organisation in partnership with the Chris Moyes Scholarship Trust. A particular hallmark of our award schemes are the management of categories and criteria and the independent judging against clearly expressed and transparent marking schemes. Where possible, we run "mystery traveller" checks to audit the service standards of our finalists on the ground.

The TEG team has over 30 years' experience and expertise in all the disciplines of event management, including:
